THEME OF THE SEMINAR
The theme of the seminar is to focus on the globalization issues on industrial relations and series of changes happening in the international economy. Over the past decade, the growing retailers with foreign market as their priority growth strategy expand their sales. As the retailer has moved in unpredictable territory, they faced a serious issues. This leads to series of changes in international economy which is referred in globalization.
As by Wade notes (1996) globalization is described as the set of qualitative changes in the International economy associated with the increase in international trade in goods and services, good flow of foreign direct investment and growth in international financial transactions since late 1960s.
As by the notes, the present scenario is by:
- The range of three principal actors of Industrial Relations(IR).
- To discuss the IR emerging issues which are repeatedly occurring in both developed and developing economies.
- The importance of their emergence in the global IR systems.
To achieve the above objectives, the initial step is to discuss about the globalization factors and the controversial issues in Industrial Relation practices. Finally it provides a common solution factor that this issues bring to the field of industrial relations.
The industrialist analyses have also stressed the importance of national level institutions to focus on the common economic issues.
