| Hon’ble Mr. Justice Dinesh Kumar Singh was born on 3rd October, 1958 in a family of eminent lawyers. His grandfather Late Gagandeo Narayan Singh practiced in civil side at Chapra and father Late Radhey Shyam Sinha, was an eminent criminal lawyer of Chapra. Justice Singh did his graduation from Bihar University and thereafter he did his Masters in English and LL.B from Patna University. He was enrolled as an advocate in Patna High Court on 26.09.1986. He practiced in all branches of law, constitutional, civil, criminal etc. for 24 long years. He also successfully defended Boards, Corporations and Public Sectors. Besides having a flying private practice Justice Singh as a counsel was engaged as a retainer for Muzaffarpur Municipal Corporation for more than two long decades and counsel for New India Assurance Co. in Patna High Court. Justice Singh was appointed as Additional Advocate General, Bihar, in 2006. He subsequently resigned in 2007 and pursued private practice with zeal. He was designated as Senior Advocate in November 2007. He took oath as an Additional Judge of Patna High Court on 18th day of February, 2010 and took oath as a Permanent Judge on 24th, October 2011 | ||
