| Hon’ble Mr. Justice Vikash Jain was born on the 18th of February, 1960. Having schooled at St. Xavier’s High School, Patna and St. Michael’s High School, Patna, he did his graduation from Patna University. He obtained his LLB degree from Patna Law College in 1986 and enrolled with the Bihar State Bar Council in September of the same year.
His field of specialization has been Taxation Laws. He has also handled Contract, Company, Service and Arbitration matters. His clients have included NTPC, BHEL, SBI, ICICI Bank, Hindustan Steelworks Construction Ltd., Bihar State Text Book Publishing Corporation, and Patna University. He has also represented Boards such as the Bihar State Madrasa Education Board and Jharkhand State Agricultural Marketing Board, apart from Trusts and Corporate matters. He engaged classes at Patna Law College as part-time lecturer, as also at Chanakya National Law University as visiting faculty. In June 1998, he was appointed Government Pleader – VI in the Patna High Court and served as such till March 2000. In February, 2010, he was designated Senior Advocate of the Patna High Court. He was appointed Additional Judge of the Patna High Court on the 20th of June, 2011. |
