Answer any FOUR questions.  Answer to each should be in about 300 words.

 

  1. Define channels of communication. Explain some of the channels of communication.
  2. What are the characteristics of an open relationship?
  3. What is non-verbal communication? Explain its importance.
  4. When will self disclosure be constructive?
  5. Give a short explanation of the ego states, according to E. Berne.

 

PART – III                             (2 ´ 20 = 40 marks)

 

Answer any TWO questions.  Answer to each should be in about 600 words.

 

  1. What are the advantages and disadvantages of downward and upward communications?
  2. What is self esteem? How can one develop self-esteem?  What are the characteristics of a self-accepting person?
  3. How will be you prepare a media programme to inculcate values to a youth group? Justify your choice of media and the method chosen.
