The Ministry of HRD is planning for uniting JEE Main and JEE Advanced applicable from coming 2015. Students has to write only one common entrance test to take admission into NITs, IITs and other Government Funded Institutions. The news comes while the Ministry is also proposing for a common counselling for NITs and IITs from 2014 to avoid vacant seats in India’s most prestigious institutions.
