JEE Main 2015 is going to be held during the month of 4th Apr, 2015. There are two modes of examination: pen and paper based and computer based. There are certain points you should be careful about the examination. This exam is a national level examination and there will be stiff competition among students to get higher ranks in order to secure a seat in NITs, IITs, other good and reputed colleges in India. Consider the following 10 points before entering the examination hall:
1. Admit Card:
JEE Main Admit Card can be downloaded from JEE Website (www.jeemain.nic.in). You need to check important details about yourself printed on the admit card immediately after the download. If you find any discrepancy in the information, please contact JEE main Secretariat immediately for necessary action.
2. Reaching the Examination Hall:
You should reach the examination hall at least 30 minuted prior to the scheduled time for the examination. Avoid unnecessary traffic delays by starting early to the exam centre. It is even better to visit the venue prior to the date of examination to get yourself comfortable with the place, if you are new to the place.
3. Carry Necessary Documents with You:
Do not forget to carry necessary documents along with the admit card to the examination hall. Please go through the guidelines regarding Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2015.
4. Cover the Whole Syllabus:
It is highly recommended to cover the entire syllabus prescribed for the examination without leaving portions of it. NCERT contents should be given higher importance to cover first before going through other reference materials. If you are attending coaching classes you should also finish up the materials provided by the institution.
5. Practice Good Number of Questions:
Practicing good number of questions of the same JEE main pattern is a must for all candidates appearing the test. You should practice different question banks published by different exam preparation organisations apart from your coaching institutions. 6. Go Through Important Formulas, Rules, etc at Regular Interval:
There are certain rules, formulas, theorems, etc which need to be remembered at any cost for attempting questions in the examination hall. Go through these important aspects and remember as soon as possible. Also revise it frequently so that you will never forget before the examination.
7. Do not Waste Time:
Do not waste your time in unnecessary activities so as to improve productivity towards the examination. You should avoid to chit chat, television and other disturbing activities from your daily schedule so that you can provide maximum hours for your studies. Start your day early to finish early and take good amount of sleep to relax.
8. Relax well and be Stress Free:
You should not be over stressed during exam time. Try to have healthy foods consisting of fruits and vegetables and reduce your anxiety over the examination preparation. Listen to light music and drink plenty of water to avoid stress related dehydration. You can do light exercise / yoga to keep yourself active and refreshing.
9. Do believe in God:
Keep faith in God and you will have good spirit to work hard for exam preparation. “God helps those who help themselves”. Do offer prayer everyday for blessings to work hard and to be in good health and mind during the preparation time.
10. Do Believe in Yourself:
Swami Vivekananda said “You cannot believe in God until you believe in yourself”. Believe in yourself and stand for your dream. Positive thinking brings abundant power and energy in yourself to work hard for attaining success.
