4. State the significance of platelets.
5. What is sterilization ?
6. Comment on proteinuria and polyuria.
7. Mention any four commenly used anticoagulant.
8. What are the abnormal odours detected in urine?
9. What is liqufication time?
10. What are bile salts and bile pigments?

1. Write in detail the composition and functions of blood.
2. Describe the procedure of ABO blood grouping .

4. What is spermatogenesis? Explain sperm motility test.
5. Write the principle, procedure and clinical significance of heamoglobin estimation.
6. Describe the procedure for detection of urine sugar and ketone bodies . Add a note on the results.
