  4. What are the different stages of counselling?
  5. Distinguish between Empathy and Sympathy?
  6. What are the processes in counselling?
  7. Mention the significant counselling techniques.
  8. Define personality.
  9. What is meant by authenticity?
  10. Give four types of counselling in special situations.

(Answer any FOUR questions.Anser to each question carries 10 marks. Answer to each question should not exceed 300 words)

  1. Elaborate on Alcoholism Counselling.
  2. Mention the methods and techniques  used in HIV AIDS Counselling
  3. Describe the goals of counselling from the counsellor’s and client’s view points.
  4. Explain the qualities of an effective counsellor.
  5. Narrate the ethical standards of counselling as a profession?
