Born on 24th June, 1968

Was enrolled on 23rd September, 1992 as an Advocate on the Rolls of the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa. Joined the Chambers of Dr.Dhananjaya Y. Chandrachud (now Chief Justice, Allahabad High Court.

Appeared on the Original Side and the Appellate Side of the Bombay High Court in matters involving Constitutional Law,Administrative Law, Company Law, Customs, Excise, Service Law, PILs and litigation under various Central and State Acts.

In 1998 was appointed by the Government of India, Ministry of Law and Justice as Senior Counsel Grade II for appearing in the Bombay High Court. In the year 2004 was appointed as Senior Counsel Group I and November 2009 was appointed as a Special Counsel.

Since 2000 was Counsel for University of Pune and continued till his elevation.

Was appointed as “Standing Counsel” for Union Territory, Administration of Daman, Diu and Dadra Nagar Haveli to represent the Union Administration in the Bombay High Court and continued to be so till his elevation.

In 2005 was appointed by the Government of India as Counsel for U.T.Administration of Daman to represent the Union Territory Administration in the Commission of Inquiry in the collapse of Daman Ganga Bridge claiming 29 lives.

Also appeared for various Public Sector Undertakings like Airport Authority of India, Air India, Reserve Bank of India, Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilisers, India Security Press, Bank of Maharashtra, Hotel Corporation of India, Canara Bank, Maharashtra State Electricity Board (now MSEDCL and MSEGCL), BEST, Bank of India, National Highway Authority, Medical Council of India, Bombay Port Trust, Omninus Industrial Development Corporation, Election Commission of India, Inter University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCCA) Pune.

Also represented several Educational Institutions in Maharashtra on issues arising under various educational laws.

Was appointed in April 2009 as a panel Counsel by Hon’ble Bombay High Court to represent in the cases against the High Court.

Was elevated as an Additional Judge of the Bombay High Court on 6th January, 2014
