Passed LL.B in 1988 from Rourkela Law College. Passed M.A.(History) with first class. Joined the Chambers of Harish Ray a leading practitioner of Rourkela. Also was appearing in Orissa High Court. Life member of High Court Bar Association, Orissa. Was the panel advocate for Life insurance Corporation of India, Bank of India, Indian overseas Bank and Bank of Baroda. Joined the Superior Judicial service and was posted as Addditional District Judge at Tenughat and Rajmahal.
