Born on 16th December 1970.
Eldest son of Late Lakshmi Narayan Singh, who was an officer of the Bihar Finance Service. Belonged originally to village ‘Singhdih’ of district Giridih.
Studied in St. John’s High School, Ranchi and happened to be topper in Board Examination in school as well as of district Ranchi in the year 1985.
Graduated from Hindu College, University of Delhi.
Obtained LL.B degree from Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, Delhi University.
Started practicing as an Advocate in Ranchi Bench of the Hon’ble Patna High Court in the year 1995 and continued practice before the Hon’ble Jharkhand High Court.
Remained as Standing Counsel of Chancellor of Universities-cum-His Excellency, the Governor of Jharkhand, High Court of Jharkhand, Jharkhand Public Service Commission, Jharkhand State Electricity Board, Council of Scientific & Industrial Research and many other organisations. Engaged as Standing Counsel and subsequently functioned as the “Government Advocate” of Government of Jharkhand till date of elevation to the Bench.
Appointed as additional Judge of the Jharkhand High Court on 30th September 2016.
