After obtaining B.Com. Degree in 1978 from Gujarat University, obtained Post Graduate Degree in Master of Labour Welfare (M.L.W.)from Gujarat University in 1980, and graduated in LL.B. from the same University in1981.

Enrolled as an Advocate on the rolls of the Bar Council of Gujarat on 4th December, 1982.

Started practicing as Advocate and conducted cases before Industrial Courts, Labour Courts and City Civil Court and then in the High Court of Gujarat. Appeared in many cases in various branches of law, viz.,Civil Service, Industrial and Corporate Laws and Arbitration Law.

Represented various Public and Private Sector establishments before Gujarat High Court and other Courts.

Elevated as “Additional Judge” of Gujarat High Court on 21st November, 2007 and confirmed as permanent Judge on 21.05.2009
