After completion of B.Sc. & L.L.B., passed West Bengal Civil Service (Judicial) Examination in the year 1984 and joined as Munsif at Alipore District Court
Held the posts of Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Lalbagh, Registrar, Alipore Civil Court and Law Officer, Environment Department
Promoted to West Bengal Higher Judicial Service in the year 2002
Also held the posts of Addl. District & Sessions Judge, Kalimpong, Burdwan, Islampur & Uttar Dinajpur
Posted as Chief Judicial Magistrate, Alipore
Held the post of Presiding Officer, Wakf Tribunal, West Bengal
As District Judge posted at Cooch Behar & Howrah
Held the post of Registrar (Vigilance & Protocol) of this Court
Also posted as Chief Judge, City Sessions Court, Calcutta
Elevated as Additional Judge, High Court at Calcutta on 30.03.2015
