He was Practicing in Patna High Court, Ranchi Bench (Combined Bihar) and was appointed as Additional District and Sessions judge in the year 1997. He Joined as Additional District and Sessions Judge on 27.05.1997(A.N.). The first posting was in the District of Godda (Combined Bihar), second posting was in the District of Bhojpur at Ara. When Jharkhand was separated in the year 2000, his services remained in the state of Bihar. Thereafter, he was posted as Nalanda at Biharsarif and then to Patna as Special Judge, C.B.I.. In The Year 2005, he was designated as District and Session Judge and posted at Begusarai as Principal Judge, Family Court and then Posted as District and Session Judge, Jamui. On 09.05.2006, he joined as Secretary, Bihar Legislative Council and remained there as such till 14.03.2010. On 15th March, 2010, he was elevated as Additional Judge, Patna High Court and took oath as a Permanent Judge on 24th, October 2011.
