Hon’ble Mr. Justice P.B. Bajanthri
Born on October 23, 1963 at Bangalore in a middle class family, passed his Matric Standard Examination in the year 1978 from Vidyavardhaka High School, Bangalore, did graduation in the year 1984 from the KLE Society, Bangalore, did Bachelor of Law Degree in the year 1990 from SJRC Law College, Bangalore. His father Sh. B.B. Bajanthri, was a retired Additional Secretary, Government of Karnataka. After age of superannuation in the year 1987 started practice as a lawyer. He stopped practicing in the Courts in the year 2007 and practiced in the Chamber till 2012. He joined his father’s office as a Junior Advocate in the year 1990, after his enrolment in the State Bar Council, Karnataka, Bangalore, on February 9, 1990. He practiced in the service matters before the High Court of Karnataka, Bangalore, State and Central Tribunals, Educational Tribunal and before various authorities. On May 8, 2006 he was appointed as Notary by the Government of India. He represented on behalf of the State Public Service Commission for some time and some of the Local Bodies. In the month of October 2014, he was appointed as Additional Government Advocate and he continued to be so till the date of his elevation as Additional Judge of Karnataka High Court on January 2, 2015. His Lordship was transferred to Punjab and Haryana High Court and took oath on March 16, 2015
