Shri. A. C. Moideen entered politics through student union activities of Students’ Federation of India (SFI). As a political and social worker, he had held various positions like KSYF Wadakkanchery Area Committee Secretary, DYFI Wadakkanchery Block Committee Secretary, Panangattukara Grameena Vayanasala Secretary, Thekkumkara Grama Panchayat President, Kallampara Milk Marketing Co-operative Society President, CPI(M) Thekkumkara Local Committee Secretary, Wadakanchery Area Committee Secretary, CPI (M) Thrissur District Committee Secretary etc. He was previously elected to 11th Kerala Legislative Assembly in a By Election held on 10.5.2004 and later for the second time he was elected as Member of Legislative Assembly from 2006-2011. Now, he is serving as CPI (M) State Committee Member and Kerala Karshaka Sangham State Working Committee Member.
Son of Chiyamu and Fathima Bevi, Shri. Moideen, was born in Kallampara on 18th April 1956.
