Hon’ble The Chief Justice Subhro Kamal Mukherjee: Born on October 10, 1955. Obtained M.A., LL.B. from University of Calcutta. Joined legal profession on 5th July, 1982 as an Advocate, Practiced mainly in Civil and Writ matters. Elevated as Permanent Judge of the High Court of Calcutta on 15th September, 2000. Took oath as Judge of Karnataka High Court on 15th April, 2015 and Appointed as Acting Chief Justice of High Court of Karnataka on 01st June 2015, Took oath as the Chief Justice, High Court at Karnataka on 23rd February, 2016
