Hon’ble Mr. Justice Surinder Gupta
Born on March 30, 1958 at Ferozepur. He completed his education up to graduation level at Ferozepur and LL.B. from Garhwal University, Srinagar, Uttrakhand. After a brief spell of practice as an advocate, he joined Punjab Civil Services (Judicial) on 17.10.1983 and was promoted as member of Superior Judicial Services, Punjab in the year 1999. In his capacity as Additional District & Sessions Judge, he remained posted at Jalandhar, Patiala and also worked as Presiding Officer, Industrial Tribunal and Labour Court, Union Territory, Chandigarh. He became District & Sessions Judge in March, 2008 and worked in various capacities as District & Sessions Judge, Fatehgarh Sahib; District & Sessions Judge-cum- Registrar (Vigilance), Punjab; Registrar (Vigilance) Punjab & Haryana High Court; Legal Remembrance-cum-Law Secretary, Government of Punjab and Registrar General of Punjab & Haryana High Court. Sworn in as Additional Judge of Punjab & Haryana High Court on June 20, 2013
