  5. Mention the different forms of corruption.
  6. List the important features of the tribals.
  7. What is the approximate total population of the ‘dalits’ in India?
  8. What are the three major types of child abuse?
  9. Bring out the physical signs of child sexual abuse.
  10. Explain with example social abuse of children.

PART – B

 

Answer any FIVE of the following questions in about 300 words each

(5 x 8 = 40 marks)

  1. Explain the characteristics of social problems.
  2. ‘Unemployment causes personal, familial and social disorganization; Elucidate.
  3. Write a brief note on the working conditions of child labourers.
  4. Examine the government measures to improve the condition of child labour.
  5. Discuss the nature of corruption in India.
  6. Explain the main safeguards prescribed by the constitution for the SCs and STs and the OBCs.
  7. Evaluate the development programmes of the Scheduled tribes.
