- State a comprehensive definition of Labour Welfare.
- Define `Industrial Hygiene’.
- What is meant by `social insurance’?
- Explain the importance of `consumer cooperatives’ in Industrial establishments.
- Differentiate `intra-mural’ from `extra-mural’ welfare programmes.
- Enlist any FOUR health hazards identified in Docks.
- Explain the concept `social assistance’.
- State how the accident related statistics are calculated.
- Mention any FOUR Articles of the Directive Principles of State Policy that deal with Labour welfare.

- Examine the “Workers’ Education Programme”, implemented in India.
- Discuss the significance and provisions of Creche and Canteen in Industrial settings.
- Explain briefly the various Occupational Diseases that confront the Industrial labour today.
