  3. What is meant by office bearers in relation to NGO?
  4. What does the “By LAWS” of an organisation refer to?
  5. Why should a NGO obtain FCRA number?
  6. What is a budget proposal?
  7. Explain the concept of “Organisation man”
  8. Mention any Four techniques of PRA.
  9. Mention FOUR objectives of HRM.
  10. Expand the following: NPO, HSO, OD, HRD.

Answer any FOUR questions within 300 words each.                              (4 x 10 = 40 marks)

  1. Discuss the characteristics and importance of organisations in the present world.
  2. Analyse the factors causing individual differences in their behavior in an organisation.
  3. What are the roles and main functions of a manager working in a development organisation?
  4. What is evaluation? Discuss its importance in a social development project.
  5. Many NGOs in the present day have become a tool in the hand of govt. and hence are not discharging their role effectively. Comment

 

PART – C

Answer any TWO questions within 600 words each:                                (2 x 20 = 40 marks)

  1. The principles of Management enunciated by Fayol are also applicable to NGO. Comment.
  2. Discuss the relevance and use of PRA in the process of development work. Illustrate with an example.
  3. Describe briefly every component of a project proposal to be submitted for funding.
