  5. Define allele.
  6. What is a primer?
  7. Draw the structure of a chromosome.
  8. What abnormalities can be detected by cytogenetics?
  9. Give examples of how DNA can be used in forensic identification.
  10. What is STR analysis?

  1. What is Y chromosome analysis? How is it useful in genealogy?
