Accomplishments in letters, literature, art and science: Special mention in National Awards in 1970 for the very first film “Sat Hindustani”; won four Filmfare Awards for Best Actor and numerous other “Best Actor” Awards; Awarded Padma Shri in 1984.

Sports: Represented college in Tennis and Table Tennis.
