Bibi Zahida Khatoon, 1922 (deceased) and Bibi Khadija Khatoon, 1941; 7 s. and 2 d.; Lawyer; previously associated with Muslim League; Elected Member, District Board, Purnea, 1930; Vice-Chairman, Sadar Local Board, 1933—39 and its Chairman till 1941; Vice-Chairman, Purnea District Board, 1941—45; elected to Bihar Legislative Assembly in 1937, 1946 and 1952; Member, (i) Constituent Assembly, 1946—50, (ii) Second Lok Sabha, 1957—62 and (iii) Third Lok Sabha, 1962—67.
