Hyderabad July 27, 1911; ed. at Karve University, Sharda Niketan and College of Arts, Madras; widow of late Shri Durga Prasad Yadav; full time social and public worker; entered politics by boycotting Simon Commission during student life; took active part in Salt Satyagraha and courted imprisonment for one year in 1930-31; Founder-Member and Hony. Secretary, Indira Seva Sadan (Orphanage), Radhika Maternity Home, Vasu Shishu Vihar and Masetti Hanumanthu Gupta High School, Hyderabad; worked as in-charge, Acharya Bhave’s first Paidal Yatra in Telengana; President, Hyderabad Yadava Mahajana Samaajam; Vice-President, (1) All India Students Conference in her student days; (2) Hyderabad Food-Council: (3) Andhra Yuvti Mandali; Treasurer, State Social Welfare Advisory Board.
