Single Entrance Test for Engineering Graduates

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is conducted for Medical and Dental Institutions, the exam is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education which announces and declares result for the exam. The ranking is based on the scores of the entrance test. The exam is done under the approval of Medical Council of India as per the norms regulated by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare

Likewise, All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) has decided to conduct entrance test for Undergraduate Engineering Courses. Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE-Main) is one of the entrance exam conducted for Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Indian Institute of Information Technology and various other institutions .Above exam is also conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education.

The syllabus for the JEE Main is based on the CBSE .Various states has different board of education with different syllabi. So the entrance exam is on the initial stage as the students attending the entrance test must have same syllabus which makes them easy to attend .Considering the JEE Main, the students who studies under CBSE can be able to attend the exam very effectively which is mainly based on the CBSE syllabus

To overcome these disadvantages, an effective measure is to be taken by the AICTE

The Union Ministry of HRD has taken various steps in funding top 10 private colleges and government colleges. These steps are mainly done to increase the education standards of various institutions and fill the engineering seats for all the colleges. While attending the entrance exam, ranking will be provided to the institutions and upgrade its standard to become top 100 universities in the world.
