Combined Competitive Engineering Examination

            The examination is mainly for the posts of Junior Engineer in various departments like Civil, Mechanical, Ground Water Department and Irrigation.

Exam Pattern:

Combined State /Lower Subordinate Examination

            The examination is mainly for the posts of Deputy Collectors, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Regional Transport Office, Commercial Tax Officers and Administrative Officers.

            The applicant must be the citizen of India. The age limit of the candidate must be between 21 to 40 years. The aspirant must have a degree from a recognized University/Institution. There is a age relaxation for candidates of SC/ST and physically challenged

Exam Pattern:

            The preliminary Exam consists of objective type questions with 300 marks with two hour time duration. The preliminary exam is for screening purpose only. The main exam consists of two papers .The first paper is General Study’s paper with 200 marks with two hours time duration with 150 questions. The second paper consists of 100 marks. A conventional essay paper is in Hindi with 100 marks with three hours time duration. The shortlisted candidates are elected to the interview purpose.

Combined State/Upper Subordinate Exam

The examination is mainly for the posts of Account Officers, District probationary Officer, Jail Superintendent and Assistant Horticulture Officer

The interview process is held for score of 200 marks.

Lower Division Clerk Combined Competitive Examination

Selection Procedure:

The written Examination will be of objective type and descriptive type.There are 6 papers and practical skill part. Each consist of 100 marks and the duration for each paper is one hour. The essay paper has two essays, one of English essay and an odia essay(within 350 words).There is no negative marking.
