Shri Bhupendra Singh

Shri Bhupendra Singh was born on May 20, 1960 at village Bamora in Sagar district.

Shri Singh was elected Secretary of Sagar University Students Union in year 1982 and member of Senate of Sagar University in year 1985. He was Vice-President of Sagar Krishi Upaj Mandi during 1985-90. Shri Singh became District President of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha in year 1985-86 and Director of Vitaran Sanstha, Sagar in 1990. Shri Bhupendra Singh was President of Nagar Sudhar Nyas, Sagar during 1991-93. He was State Vice-President of Bharatiya Janata Party in 1993. Shri Singh was elected to 10th Vidhan Sabha in year 1993. He was also a member of Bharatiya Janata Party’s State Working Committee in 1997.

Shri Bhupendra Singh was elected to Lok Sabha from Sagar in year 2009. Shri Singh was elected to 14th Vidhan Sabha from Khurai Vidhan Sabha constituency in Sagar district in December 2013. He took oath as Cabinet Minister in Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s Council of Ministers on December 21, 2013.

Smt. Maya Singh was born on August 15, 1950 at Sujanpur in Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh. She was Deputy Mayor of Gwalior from 1984 to 1988. She was Vice-President of Madhya Pradesh State Mahila Morcha, All-India General Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Mahila Morcha and President of Madhya Pradesh Mahila Morcha. She was national President of Bharatiya Janata Mahila Morcha from 1997 to 2000.

Smt. Maya Singh has been member of several important Rajya Sabha committees.

Smt. Singh was elected to 14th Vidhan Sabha in year 2013 from Gwalior East constituency. Smt. Singh took oath as a Cabinet Minister on December 21, 2013.

Rampal Singh

Shri Rampal Singh

Shri Rampal Singh was born on January 4, 1956 at Udaipura in Raisen district. A B.A. LLB and Ved Ratna, he is an agriculturist. Shri Rampal Singh has special interest in social service, rural development and politics.

Shri Rampal Singh’s public life began with student politics in 1980-81. He was President of Government College Bareli’s students union and a member of Bhopal University’s executive body. Shri Singh was Vice-President of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, Raisen and special invitee to State Executive. He was elected to 12th Vidhan Sabha in 1990, 10th Vidhan Sabha in 1993, 11th Vidhan Sabha and 12th Vidhan Sabha from Udaipura constituency. During 10th Vidhan Sabha, he was also a member of Vidhan Sabha’s Petition and Public Accounts committees and a member of Energy Department’s advisory committee.

Shri Rampal Singh went on study tour of 5 countries including France, Holland and Austria in 2003. He was also President of Raisen District BJP and State General Secretary of BJP Yuva Morcha.

Shri Rampal Singh was included in Chief Minister Shri Babulal Gaur’s Council of Ministers as Minister of State on August 27, 2004.

Shri Antar Singh Arya

Shri Antar Singh Arya was born on March 5, 1959 at village Kolki in Sendhwa tahsil of Barwani district. Shri Arya is educated upto M. Com previous.

Agriculture is the main occupation of Shri Arya’s family. Shri Arya became MLA for the first time in 1990. Shri Arya was appointed as Vice-Chairman of Madhya Pradesh State Forest Development Corporation. Earlier, he remained unopposed sarpancha of village Kolki for 15 years.

Shri Arya has been active in politics from student life. He was imprisoned several times for participating in political movements. Shri Arya considers service to tribals as motto of his life.

Shri Arya was elected to 12th Vidhan Sabha on BJP ticket from Sendhwa constituency.

Shri Shukla was elected President of Rewa Engineering College in 1986. He played an important role in organising Yuva Sammelan in 1992. Shri Shukla is a member of Lions Club, Rewa. He has been member of State BJP’s working committee and Director of Housing Board. He was elected for the first time to Vidhan Sabha in 2003 and later included in the Council of Ministers as Minister of State (Independent charge) for Housing and Environment.

Shri Rajendra Shukla was re-elected to Vidhan Sabha in 2008. He was included in Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s Council of Ministers as Minister of State on December 20, 2008. Later, he was elevated to cabinet rank.

An amicable and cheerful Shri Jain has been associated with sports and culture as well as religious and social activities.

Elected from Ujjain North Vidhan Sabha constituency, Shri Paras Chandra Jain has been active in politics right from student life through Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad.

Shri Gupta began his public life as Acharya of Saraswati Shishi Mandir. Later, he established Standard Public School. Shri Gupta got associated with Rashtriya Swayam Sewak Sangh atearly age. He was Bharatiya Janata Party’s Organising Secretary (Bhopal). He was also National Coordinator of Bharatiya Janata Party’s Urban Development Cell. Shri Gupta became Chairman of M.P. Shri Bisen became Director of Central Cooperative and Land Development Bank, Balaghat in 1978 and Vice-President of District Janata Party, Balaghat. He was elected as candidate of Bharatiya Janata Party to Vidhan Sabha in 1985 and 1990. In 1986, he became member of Vidhan Sabha’s Public Accounts Committee and Assurance Committee in 1986. In the 9th Vidhan Sabha, he was a member of Tabling Committee and Estimates Committee and advisory committees of Public Works and Higher Education departments.

In 1991-92, Shri Bisen was a member of Sagar University’s Court, member of State BJP’s executive body, President of Gram Hitkarni Sabha and Vice-Chairman of Vivek Jyojit Vidyapeeth, Balaghat. Sushri Kusum Mehdele was President of Bharatiya Janata Mahila Morcha thrice from 1984 to 1990. She was Vice-President of Madhya Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party twice in 1984-86 and 1995-96 and member of State Election Committee from 1984 to 1990 and till date from 1992. Dr. Shejwar became a member of Rashtriya Swayam Sewak Sangh during student life and started working actively for Jan Sangh. He was also an office-bearer of Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal’s students union. Elected to Vidhan Sabha for the first time at the age of 27 years in 1977, Dr. Shejwar was appointed Parliamentary Secretary of Public Health & Family Welfare Department. He was also State Vice-President of Janata Yuva Morcha. Dr. Shejwar was again elected to Vidhan Sabha in 1980 and given responsibility of Chief Whip of BJP Legislature Party. He was also a member of Public Accounts Committee and Petition Committee. He was elected to Vidhan Sabha for the third time in 1990 and became Chairman of Delegation Committee. He was also Minister of State for Home, Aviation, General Administration and Public Health & Family Welfare. He was re-elected to Vidhan Sabha in 1993 and became a member of Public Accounts and Petition committees. He also discharged responsibility of BJP Legislature Party’s General Secretary. He was also State Vice-President of BJP Scheduled Caste Morcha.

Dr. Shejwar was elected again to Vidhan Sabha in 1998. He was Leader of Opposition in Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha from February 2, 1999 to September 1, 2002. He was also Chairman of Vidhan Sabha’s Privilege Committee.

Dr. Shejwar was again elected to 12th Vidhan Sabha from Sanchi constituency in 2003. He was inducted as Cabinet Minister in Sushri Uma Bharti’s Council of Ministers and given significant portfolios like Energy, Public Health & Family Welfare, Medical Education and General Administration. Shri Gopal Bhargava was born on July 1, 1952 at Rahli in Sagar district. He is BSc, LLB. Shri Bhargava has been associated with social work from an early age. He conducted a number of activities and actively participated in agitations in favour of labourers, farmers and bidi workers. He is an agriculturist. A man of action, Shri Bhargava had to go to jail as a result of political agitations.

Shri Bhargava has been essaying significant roles in political activities. He was Chairman of Gadhakota Nagar Palika from 1982 to 1984. Shri Bhargava was elected to Vidhan Sabha in 1985. He evinced keen interest in development of his constituency as an MLA. He has been elected to Vidhan Sabha continuously since 1985.

Shri Bhargava became Cabinet Minister in Sushri Uma Bharti’s Council of Ministers in 2003 and was given portfolios of Agriculture, Revenue, Religious Trusts & Endowment, Relief and Cooperatives. After Cabinet reshuffle on June 28, 2004, he was given portfolio of Agriculture and Cooperatives.

Shri Bhargava was inducted as Minister in Shri Babulal Gaur’s Council of Ministers on August 27, 2004.

Shri Malaiya was elected for the first time for 7th Vidhan Sabha in year 1984. He was elected to 9th Vidhan Sabha in 1990, 10th in 1993 and 11th Vidhan Sabha in 2003. Shri Malaiya was elected to Vidhan Sabha for the 5th time from Damoh constituency in 2003. He became Chairman of Public Accounts Committee of 11th Vidhan Sabha.

Shri Malaiya was Minister of State for Housing and Environment (Independent Charge). He was President of Damoh District Bharatiya Janata Party 4 times and special invitee to State BJP’s executive committee. Shri Malaiya has visited America, Canada Switzerland, Austria, England, France, Nepal, Germany, Holland and Italy.
