Shri Antar Singh Arya

Shri Antar Singh Arya was born on March 5, 1959 at village Kolki in Sendhwa tahsil of Barwani district. Shri Arya is educated upto M. Com previous.

Agriculture is the main occupation of Shri Arya’s family. Shri Arya became MLA for the first time in 1990. Shri Arya was appointed as Vice-Chairman of Madhya Pradesh State Forest Development Corporation. Earlier, he remained unopposed sarpancha of village Kolki for 15 years.

Shri Arya has been active in politics from student life. He was imprisoned several times for participating in political movements. Shri Arya considers service to tribals as motto of his life.

Shri Arya was elected to 12th Vidhan Sabha on BJP ticket from Sendhwa constituency.

Shri Antar Singh Arya was sworn-in as a Minister of State in Chief Minister Shri Babulal Gaur’s Council of Ministers on August 27, 2004. He was entrusted portfolio of SC, ST Welfare (Only Tribal Welfare).

Shri Arya was included as Minister in Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s Council of Ministers on December 4, 2005.

Shri Arya was elected to 14th Vidhan Sabha from Sendhwa constituency in year 2013. He took oath as Cabinet Minister on December 21, 2013.
