About Kolasib District :
Kolasib district is one of the eight districts of Mizoram state in India. body The district is bounded on the north and northwest by Hailakandi district of Assam state, on the west by Mamit district, on the south and east by Aizawl district and on the northeast by Cachar district of Assam state. The district occupies an area of 1382.51 km2. As per the Census 2011, the total population of the district is 83,054 out of which 42,456 are males and 40,598 are females. Kolasib town is the administrative headquarters of the district. For the purpose of general and developmental administration, the district has been divided into 3 (three) Sub-Divisions viz. Kolasib Sadar, Vairengte and Kawnpui and 2 (two) R.D. Block, i.e. Thingdawl and Bilkhawthlir
