Shri Lal Singh Arya

Shri Lal Singh Arya was born on June 15, 1964 at Bhind. A BA, LLb, he has special interest in bhajans, ghazals and helping people in distress.

Shri Lal Singh Arya became a member of Rashtriya Swayam Sewak Sangh at an early age. He became Secretary of District Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha in year 1985-86 and was appointed District General Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party Scheduled Caste Morha in 1987-99. Shri Arya was member of Jiwaji University’s kabaddi team in 1987-88 and captain in year 1989. He was District General Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party from 1989 to 1991, Coordinator of Bhind Mela Samiti’s Sports Committee in 1990-91, Bharatiya Janata Party’s District President 1992-97 and Patron of Lion Sewa Samiti 1996-97. Shri Arya was elected to 11th Vidhan Sabha in 1998. He served in some committees of Vidhan Sabha. He became a member of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha’s District President since year 2002 and President of Bharatiya Janata Party’s Bhind District President from June 2005. He was also appointed member of Madhya Pradesh De-addiction Board, Panch-Ja Committee (Minister of State status) and Jan Bhagidari Samiti of Maharishi Arvind College, Gohad. Shri Arya was also a member of committee for salary and allowances of former Members of Vidhan Sabha and Orient Paper Mill Amaltai Enquiry Committee. Shri Arya was elected to Vidhan Sabha for the second time in 2003.

Shri Lal Singh Arya was elected for the 14th Vidhan Sabha in year 2013 from Gohad constituency in Bhind district. He took oath as a Minister of State in Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s Council of Ministers on December 21, 2013.
