Brief introduction of public and political life
Active in student politics since 1989. Jabalpur District Rural District Youth Congress General Secretary in 1991. Katni District Congress Committee General Secretary in 1996. Katni Zila Panchayat President in 2000-2005. MP Congress General Secretary in 2008. Led several movements. Elected to 13th Vidhan Sabha in 2008. Honnoured by Uttarakhand Governor for saving hundreds of lives during disaster relief operations in Uttarakhand in 2013. Conferred model young MLA “Award -2013 in January 2014 in Pune by the Indian Student Parliament of India. Elected to 14th Vidhan Sabha in 2013 as candidate of Indian National Congress and resigned from the membership on March 31, 2014,
Re-elected in by-election on BJP ticket on August 2014 and took oath as Member on 8th December 2014.
