Asha Arora

Born on October 2, 1957, Asha Arora completed schooling from Loreto Day School Calcutta and was placed in the First Division in the Higher Secondary Examination. Graduated from the University of Calcutta and obtained L.L.B. degree from the same University.

Enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council of West Bengal on July 6, 1984. Appeared for the West Bengal Civil Service (Judicial) Examination in the Year 1985 and secured the First position on order of merit.

Joined the West Bengal Judicial Service on September 7, 1987 and was posted at different places in all the tiers of service. Was promoted to the cadre of District Judge in December 2002. Appointed as District and Sessions Judge, Nadia in the year 2011 followed by appointment as Registrar (Inspection) of the High Court  Calcutta.

Elevated as Additional Judge, High Court at Calcutta on 30th March, 2015

Appointed as Permanent Judge of the Calcutta High Court on 06.10.2016

 

NEET PG 2017 Notification

NEET PG 2017

The National Board of Examination (NBE) which will conduct NEET PG Entrance 2017 has notified NEET PG (National Eligibility Entrance Test) post graduate entrance examination dates. NEET PG 2017 entrance shall be the single PG entrance for the year 2017 for admission into various post graduation courses at various medical colleges in India. Candidates planning to appear the test can check the notification at NBE official website at www.nbe.gov.in.

As per the release, the exam date for the post graduate courses will be between December 5 and 13 and for dental Post Graduation courses the exam will be held on November 30.

NEET PG 2017 Exam Pattern:

NEET-PG will be a computer-based entrance test. The paper will consist of 240 multiple choice questions covering the NEET PG Syllabus which is equivalent to MBBS curriculum followed at medical colleges in India.
