The candidate must have an enrolment an advocate in Bar Council from any State or Union Territory. The aspirant must know to read, write and speak Bengali.

Exam Pattern:

            The Preliminary exam consist of one paper with 200 questions with 200 marks and two and half hours time duration .The exam is of objective type. The main exam consists with eight compulsory papers and it this three papers are optional subject papers chosen by the candidate. The marks for each paper I 100 with three hour time duration .The paper I of descriptive type. The marks for Personal Interview I 100 mark. The eligible candidates are selected for the personal Interview.

Civil Service Examination

       The examination is conducted for four groups, Group A, Group B, Group C, Group D. The posts are Commercial Tax officers, Excise officers, Block Development Officers, Food and Supply Officers, Agricultural Officer.

Eligibility Criteria:

            The candidate must be the citizen of India. The aspirant must have a age limit between 21 to 30 years. There is age relaxation based on the norm of the commission. The candidate must possess a degree from a recognized University/Institution.

Exam Pattern:

          The preliminary exam consists of one paper of objective type with 200 questions with 200 marks and two and half hours time duration. The main exams consist of six compulsory papers with one optional paper for Group A and B. The paper I and II are written type while the other papers are objective type. The mark allotted for various group are

    Group A: 200 marks

   Group B: 200 marks

   Group C: 150 marks

   Group D: 100 marks

             The mark will be reduced to 10% as the candidate disclosed his/her identity. There is negative marking for the preliminary paper. The merit based candidates are moved to the personal Interview.

Combined Competitive Examination

       The examination is mainly conducted for the posts of Junior Engineers in Civil, Mechanical and Electrical.

Eligibility Criteria:

      The aspirant must be an Indian. He/She must possess a diploma in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical from a recognized University/Institution. The age limit of the candidate must be between 20 to 30 years. The final year students can also apply to the posts. The candidate should know to read, write and speak in Bengali.

Exam Pattern:

      The written examination consists of 100 questions with 200 marks with two hours time duration. Each question carries 2 marks each. For personal interview, the candidate the score is 100 marks.

    The candidate must be the citizen of India. The age limit of the candidate must be between 21 to 30 years. The candidate must possess a graduation in Engineering from a recognized University/Institution. There is age relaxation for candidate as per the norms.          The Examination is mainly conducted for the posts of Deputy Collectors, Administrative officers, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Block Development Officers, Tehilsdar, Commercial Tax Officers, Excise officers.

      The Aspirant must be the citizen of India. The aspirant must have a graduation in engineering from a recognized University/Institution. The age limit of the candidate is between 21 to 30 years. The aspirant must have knowledge of mizo language up to the middle School level.

Medical Officer Examination

Group A Examination

Exam Pattern:

     The Preliminary Examination is an objective type .It consists of multiple choice questions. The total marks for the exam are 100 marks. The main examination consists of 8 papers with duration of two and half hours. The marks for these papers are 1200.The candidate who passed in the both exams are eligible for the interview process.

Group B Examination

      The exam is mainly held for the posts are Assistant Posts, Assistant Section Officer and Assistant Inspector of Local Funds.

Eligibility Criteria:

     The aspirant must be a degree holder from a authorized University/institution.

    The candidate must attend three level of selection process

  • Preliminary Exam

Exam Pattern:

     The exam paper consists of multiple choice questions with the total mark of 100 marks. The written Examination is attended by the candidates who are eligible from the preliminary exam. Group C Examination

    The exam are mainly conducted for the posts of Typists, Junior Accountant, Auditor.

    The selection process consists of two levels which are as follows;

Exam Pattern:

    The written Examination includes two papers with duration of 150 minutes. The candidate eligible from the exam are shortlisted for the next level of selection that is the interview process. Group D Examination

   The examination is mainly conducted for the posts of Junior Stenographer, Accountant cum Typists.

Eligibility Criteria:

    The Aspirant must be a degree holder from a recognized Institution/University. He/she must be a well versed typist in their regional language.

     The two levels of Examination are,

Exam Pattern:

     The Written examination includes two papers with a time duration of 150 minutes. The shortlisted candidate are selected for the next level of test that is viva voice.

  • The Candidate must log into the official website of Karnataka Public Service Commission

ANDHRA PRADESH PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION
