About RaeBareli District :
The district of Raebareli, which was created by the British in 1858, is named after its headquarters town. Tradition has it that the town was founded by the Bhars and was known as Bharauli or Barauli which in course of time got corrupted into Bareli. The prefix, Rae, is said to be a corruption of Rahi, a village 5km. west of the town. It is also said that the prefix, Rae, represents Rae, the common title of the Kayasths who were masters of the town for a considerable period of time.
Since about the begining of the media level period of indian history the region in the south of which the area covered by the district of Raebareli lies has been known as avadh or subhah of avadh. In the north it streched as far as the foothills of the Himmalays and in the south as far as the Ganga beyond which lay the Vatsa country. There is no doubt that the district has been civilised and settled life since very early times.

Samaspur Bird Santuary :
Samaspur Bird Santuary is situated in Rohaniya Development block of the district, about 122 k.m from Lucknow on Lucknow-Varanasi highway. It was established in 1987 on a total area of about 799.371 hectare. Nearest railway station is Unchahar and the nearest airport is Fursatganj, Raebareli.The best period of visit is from November to March. More than 250 varieties of birds can be seen here.Some of the birds come here from a distance of 5000 k.m. which include Greleg Googe, Pin Tail, Common Teel, Vision, Showler, Surkhab etc. Local birds include Comb Duck, Whistling Teel, Spot Bill, Spoon Bill, King Fisher, Vulture etc. Twelve varieties of fish are there in the lake at Samaspur
Dalmau :
Dalmau is situated on the banks of Holy Ganga and is famous since ancient times. It has been the Historical town of the district. Prominent palces at Dalmau are King Dal’s fort, Bara Math, Mahesh Giri Math, Nirala memorial Institute, A well constructed by Ebrahim Sharki, Palace of Nawab Shuza-ud-daula, Baithak of Alhaa Udal, Dalmau Pump canal etc.
Behta Bridge :
This Bridge is situated in the outskirts of the Raebareli city. The important thing of this Bridge is that at this place Sharda canal crosses the Sai river. An aqueduct has been constructed and the canal flows in the duct.

Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is a two tier examination in which first stage of exam is “JEE Main” and the second stage of the exam is said to be “JEE Advanced”. JEE Main is the entrance test which is a gateway for the B.Tech courses offered by the famous institutes like IIITs and NITs. Whereas, those who clear JEE Main exam are eligible to take the JEE Advanced entrance test which is a gateway for engineering courses in the institutes like IITs (Indian Institute of Technology) (Ultimate dream institute for many Indian students)
But before start preparing for JEE Main 2016, it is important to know the following details about the Joint Entrance Examination Main 2016.
- Candidates should have studied Physics and Mathematics in their Class 12
- They must have compulsorily studied any of the following subjects: Computer Science, Bio-technology, Chemistry and Biology and should have secured minimum 50% of marks in all the subjects.
- Candidates must have born on or after October 1991.
- Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equal qualifying exam in 2014 or 2015.

How to Prepare for JEE Main 2016?
Please ensure the Pattern and Syllabus for the JEE Main 2016 examination. In order to score well in this exam, you must be very clear about the pattern and syllabus of the examination. Also please note the following details which are very important for the candidates who are taking this exam.

- Total duration for the JEE Main 2016: 3 hours
- Total Questions: 90
- Maximum marks: 360
- Paper 1 sections: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (BE/B.Tech)
Objective type of questions and equal marks for all the above subjects. This section can be written using pen and paper based or computer based.
- Paper 2 sections: Physics, Chemistry & Drawing and Aptitude test(B.Arch/Planning)
Objective type of questions in above subjects including aptitude questions and drawing. This section can be written only using pen and paper.
- Marks for correct answer: +4
- Marks for wrong answer: -1
- Zero marks will be considered for “No answer”

Prepare:
- Plan and schedule your subjects. Schedule atleast 2 hours for every subject and learn according to that. More you strive hard, more you can score high in JEE Main 2016.
- Start to learn new things at the beginning since it gives hopes and concentration in the subjects.
- Give a ten minutes break after you complete each subject and then start with the next one.
- Revise your earlier portions every morning and then start the present day’s portion.
- If it is mathematics, please don’t hesitate to try the same in your rough note. Things change when you try on your own.
- Try to spend more time for difficult subjects and make them thorough and confident.

Practice:
However your study method is, the most important part of your learning is practice. The more you sweat in practice, the less you bleed in battle.
As said above, practice your subjects very carefully.
- For mathematics, try to solve the solution on your own. Try to solve everything without referring the books.
- For chemistry or Physics, try to solve the equations on your own.
- For other subjects plan and practice accordingly.
- Never postpone your schedule. Please try to complete the scheduled syllabus within the same day.
Revise:
Revise your previous lessons daily and also schedule to revise once in every week. This will Brush up your memory and make you feel more comfortable with the subjects.
Special Tips for JEE Main 2016:
- If you have already started taking coaching for JEE Main in any coaching centre, be regular and keep practicing.
- If you have not yet started to go to coaching class, it’s never too late. Start preparing right now.
- Always be in contact with your seniors. It’s good to know their experience facing the JEE Main

JEE Main 2014 ; Computer Based Examination
The Computer Based Examination will be conducted as per the following schedule.
1. A sample/mock test will be available on JEE (Main) website in the month of December 2013 for practice purpose and to give the candidate look and feel of the Computer Based Examination (CBE).
2. The test will start exactly at the time mentioned in the Admit Card and an announcement to this effect will be made by the invigilator.
3. The test will be of 3 hrs duration
4. The test paper will be consisting questions of Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and all questions will have equal weightage.
5. There will be three parts in the question paper consisting of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics having equal weightage.
6. Each question is allotted 4 (four) marks for the correct response. ¼ (one fourth) marks i.e. one mark will be deducted for indicating incorrect response of each question. No deduction from the total score will be made if no response is indicated for a question.
7. There is only one correct response for each question out of four responses given.
8. All calculations/writing work are to be done only in the rough sheet provided at the centre and on completion of the test candidates must hand over the rough sheets to the invigilator on duty in the Room/Hall.
9. During the examination time, the invigilator will check Admit Card of the candidate to satisfy himself/herself about the identity of each candidate.
10. The candidates are governed by all Rules and Regulations of the Board with regard to their conduct in the Examination Hall. All cases of unfair means will be dealt with as per rules.
11. The candidates must sign on the Attendance Sheet at the appropriate place.
